OUR MISSION

1. To promote the professionalism of social work to its highest standards in the country;

2. To advocate for and promote the implementation of  competency standards and   regulation for social work  practice, education and research on par with international standards;

3. To advocate for social justice and full participation of the vulnerable and marginalised and to provide the full support to the clients to empower themselves;

4. To uphold and support the application of the Social Work Code of Ethics in practice, education and research;

5. To initiate, implement and support activities which contribute towards the growth and development of professional social work at national, regional and international levels;

6. To represent the professional views of social workers on matters of social policies, legislations, regulations, programmes, education and services in relation to the needs of society;

7. To support and promote the well-being of its members.
